The biggest activation from the biggest sponsor at the world’s biggest event. That’s already a huge deal, but we went even further. The Olympic Torch Relay for Coca-Cola was the the most complex event SRCOM did during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.  It was our responsibility to plan the route, to create 5 Coke concerts, to create the daily presentations that took place on the City Celebration stage, to promote all the brand activations, and we also had to take care of the production of the event in the entire country. If that isn’t enough, the numbers are a good way to demonstrate how gigantic the project was: 14 months of planning, 95 days on the road, 329 visited cities, 36,000 kilometers traveled and an Olympic record of 1.4 million Cokes distributed. More than a job, that amazing experience is going to be forever part of both our histories, SRCOM’s and Coke’s.
